SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 30, 2017 -- Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity company, today announced that Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Stan Schneider, will be speaking at the Industrial Internet Consortium’s (IIC) IIoT World Tour event on Friday, December 8, addressing key issues around IIoT architecture development.
At this event, Schneider will participate in the Standards & Architecture panel from 12:35 – 1:35 p.m. During the panel, Schneider will join industry experts from SAP SE and the U.S. Department of Energy to discuss building secure, scalable and reliable IIoT architectures, as well as how enterprise architects can adhere to industry standards while developing IIoT initiatives.
The IIoT World Tour brings together the cross-industry knowledge of the IIC, and the manufacturing expertise of Platform Industrie 4.0, to accelerate the digitalization of industrial production at a rate unattainable by any single organization. This is the third event in the IIC’s 2017 IIoT World Tour Series, offering executive keynote presentations, panels on testbeds, security, standards and architecture, testbed demonstrations and networking opportunities.

RTI joined the IIC in 2014 as an initial member. Schneider currently serves as a member of the organization’s Steering Committee and serves on the testbed subcommittee.
