According to the complaint, throughout the Class Period, Defendants failed to disclose that: (1) Rent-A-Center was unable to effectively install its new point of sale system (“POS”); (2) the POS was not performing as expected, including several system outrages; (3) as a result, the Company’s Acceptance Now credit system could not be installed effectively; (4) the Company was unable to meet revenue and profitability guidance provided to shareholders; and (5) as such, the Company would need to review its prior guidance.
