Prince Harry Denied Getting Invited to King Charles' Birthday, Unlikely to Reunite With Prince William: Report

Royal fans have been wondering if Prince Harry will fly off to the U.K. to celebrate King Charles' birthday next week.

Prince Harry has denied receiving an invitation to King Charles' 75th birthday celebrations next week, stating that he has received no communication regarding the event.

Prince Harry Reportedly Didn’t Get an Invitation to King Charles’ 75th Birthday

The spokesman of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claimed that there has been “no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty’s upcoming birthday” despite reports that the monarch reached out to his son. A close pal of the Duke of Sussex, per Express UK, later added that Prince Harry was furious that the story had been positioned to suggest that he was ignoring his own father.

Instead, the entire unfortunate situation presents a sad turn in the royal war between Prince Harry and his family, since the evidence shows otherwise, despite the Palace's assurance that King Charles is eager to improve relations with his youngest son. The monarch allegedly expressed "immense pride" in both of his sons ahead of the Coronation, which many took as an indication of the King's intention to mend fences with the Sussexes following their decision to share issues about the monarchy.

To recall, Prince Harry lashed out at his father's parenting skills and accused Queen Camilla of leaking secrets to the press in his and Meghan's Netflix docu-series, which premiered in December 2023. “Spare,” his memoir, went much further in his criticism of the Royal Family, with Prince William and Princess Kate appearing to be Prince Harry's primary target.

Prince William is said to be enraged at his brother and hasn't spoken to him since. According to a source close to the heir to the throne, the situation is "still very raw" and that there will be no movement on his treatment of Prince Harry very soon.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie appear to be the only royals who have frequent contact with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and not even King Charles is willing to give an olive branch. The monarch chose not to see Prince Harry when in the U.K. numerous times this year, citing a full calendar and Balmoral engagements. However, it appears that the true explanation is a lack of desire for reconciliation.

Prince Harry’s Thoughts About Netflix’s ‘The Crown’ Series

Meanwhile, when it comes to Netflix's royal drama “The Crown,” Prince Harry has been the most vociferous of all the royals. The sixth and last season of the hit show will be released in two parts, the first on November 16 and the second on December 14.

Prince Harry discussed “The Crown” on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” in February 2021, his first interview after leaving the Firm. "They don’t pretend to be news. It’s fiction... But it’s loosely based on the truth. Of course it's not strictly accurate, of course it's not, it loosely gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that,” the husband of Meghan Markle said.

"I’m way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife, or myself. Because that is obviously fiction, take it how you will, but this is being reported on as fact because you are supposedly news. I have a real issue with that,” Prince Harry added.

Prince Harry then proposed that actor Damian Lewis be cast as him in the show. However, the Duke of Sussex has since been chastised for his involvement with the streaming service, with some accusing him of "betraying his family."
