Pizza Hut and Coca-Cola are serving a zesty gastronomic surprise in Malaysia with the debut of their fusion menu items, Hawaiian Cola Pizza and Krispy Cola Wingstreet. Combining Pizza Hut's beloved pizza with Coca-Cola's iconic fizz, these experimental offerings result from a daring collaboration to reimagine culinary boundaries and deliver a unique taste experience.
As per Marketing Interactive, the two companies created interesting food items by combining their signature products that most people love.
By fusing two distinct flavors, the companies developed something new and unexpected for the customers to enjoy. As suggested in its name, the Hawaiian Cola Pizza was made by combining Pizza Hut's best-seller Hawaiian Chicken Pizza and Cola syrup that was prepared to make a special sauce for the pizza.
The pizza restaurant said that the goal of the fusion is to create a symphony of tangy flavors that offers Coca-Cola's signature fizz at the end of every bite. For the Krispy Cola Wingstreet, the chicken wings are coated in cola-based glaze before being fried or baked.
"Mash-ups always create intrigue, especially with well-loved flavors hence, this unique creation is a testament to our shared values of finding new and fulfilling ways to delight our customers," Emily Chong, the chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut Malaysia, said.
She added that Pizza Hut and Coca-Cola are two brands that drive innovation which is why they have been a favorite for decades. Thus, blending them will only give consumers the best food products.
Tolga Cebem, the chief executive officer of Coca-Cola's bottling investments group for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, added that their company's partnership with Pizza Hut was a "perfect decision" since both prioritize the customer experience.
"With this unique new offering, customers can now savor both flavors in a single, mouthwatering creation, bringing them a truly Real Magic experience between Coca-Cola and Pizza Hut," Cebem said.
Meanwhile, Rojak Daily reported that the new Hawaiian Cola Pizza and Krispy Cola Wingstreet are available in 453 Pizza Hut stores across Malaysia. The new items will only be on the menu from Aug. 1 to September.
