As a third-party logistics and fulfillment company that works with a large variety of clientele, Phase V is well-versed in lot tracking and inventory control with sound methods for tracking every single item in their warehouse. Their tried and true methods translate into inventory practices that are essentially 99.99% accurate. Phase V utilizes automated reporting and analytics that clients access on their web portal.
Phase V’s clientele is quite broad and ranges from providers of pet products, beauty and hair products to supplements, books, apparel, medical devices and much more. Moving into the new warehouse comes after many years of successfully meeting the needs of their various clients and the hope is to continue to see similar growth in the future as they support the changing needs of their client base. Additionally, Operations Manager, Scott Wingerter is hoping “to develop a larger, established ‘narrow aisles’ layout. This would require us to get busy enough, fast enough for a second phase of racking.”
The new, larger warehouse is denser and offers more levels of racking – 1,400 racks at full build. Phase V is now also able to offer cross-docking. Looking ahead towards a bright future with more growth, the hope is that Phase V will be able to meet any requests received from their clients no matter how large or small the request is, whether it is picking and packing, adding invoices on packing lists, hanging tags off of apparel, relabeling or even gift wrapping. George Otte, CEO & President said, “We are excited about the new facility as it strengthens our operations and ability to offer turnkey solutions to the entire supply chain needs of our customers.” Moving to this new warehouse will make it possible to meet all of these requests and more as their clients also see growth in their own businesses.
