Orland, California, Feb. 26, 2018 --
The US Army Corps of Engineers is preparing to issue a contract that could span five-years for vertebrate pest control services at Black Butte Lake. They will only issue the contract to a small business. When capable small businesses are interested, but not prepared to win federal contracts, they may request assistance from US Federal Contractor Registration. Interested small businesses should act swiftly as there is a checklist of tasks to accomplish before submitting an offer by the deadline of March 26, 2018.
Over the course of the five-year contract, the contractor will have to install and replace vertebrate traps annually, as well as monitor them for effectiveness and dead vertebrate removal. The contractor must adhere to proper disposal guidelines for dead pests. The eighty-two-acre area of performance at Butte Lake will be open for a scheduled site visit on Thursday, March 8, 2018. This visit should answer many questions about the requirements on the contract. Contact Contracting Officer Arnel D. Margen ([email protected]) for more information.
US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR), the world’s largest third-party government registration firm, frequently helps contractors acquire these federal business opportunities. Each government contract contains unique requirements, but much of the data that the contracting officer uses to make a decision is standard across all federal solicitations. USFCR will help businesses craft these elements such as past performance history, capabilities statement and business profile into a powerful offer that increases their chances of winning the contract. With their powerful technology, innovative services and courteous experts USFCR helps business's build a successful career in federal acquisition.
