Nintendo Proposes Fix In JoyCon Controller Issue, Blames Switch Console Problem On “Hardware”

Are you having some issues in your Nintendo Switch JoyCon controller? Does your left controller stopped working all of a sudden?

CNET said this issue, called the "left JoyCon desync issue,” is one of the biggest problems first movers of the gaming console have encountered.

Nintendo has since acknowledged the problem and issued a statement, which read, "A manufacturing variation has resulted in wireless interference with a small number of the left Joy-Con. Moving forward this will not be an issue, as the manufacturing variation has been addressed and corrected at the factory level."

The company has since said the JoyCon error can be resolved with a simple fix. Mirror said the fix was by adding a small foam cube to the inside of the affected controller to filter out the very signals that block the JoyCon connection to the gaming console.

On the other hand, others will have the option to have it repaired by the company. Samsung said, There are other reasons consumers may be experiencing wireless interference. We are asking consumers to contact our customer support team so we can help them determine if a repair is necessary. If it is, consumers can send their controller directly to Nintendo for the adjustment, free of charge, with an anticipated quick return of less than a week. Repair timing may vary by region. For help with any hardware or software questions, please visit http://support.nintendo.com ."

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé also believes that the issue is not widespread. The company has since assured recent to future Switch consoles will no longer encounter the JoyCon desync issue.
