PAUL, Minn., June 15, 2017 -- Gander Mountain announced today that it has boosted its discounts on all top outdoor brands with incredible new sales prices available this weekend for shopper’s eager to snap up Father’s Day gifts on popular sporting goods merchandise. The retailer, which is liquidating more than $800 million of outdoor specialty merchandise across 126 locations nationwide, has slashed prices by up to 50 percent as part of its store closing event.
Popular, dad-friendly brands that are now available for great prices at Gander Mountain include the following: The North Face, Under Armour, Yeti, Coleman, GoPro, Shimano, Columbia, Guide Series, GSX, Carhartt, Merrell, Keen, New Balance, Reebok, Rocky, and more. Total liquidation discounts range from 20% to 50% off in categories such as hunting, archery, footwear, camping, fishing and boating, and from 30% to 50% off for all outwear and hunting apparel and accessories.
The Gander Mountain sale event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase hunting and firearm equipment for dads and other sports enthusiasts. Gander Mountain has long stocked a robust assortment of iconic brands such as Browning, Ruger, Remington, Beretta and Smith & Wesson, among others. During the event, prices for all shotguns and rifles have been significantly reduced to 20% off, with discounts of up to 15% off for ammunition. All scopes and binoculars are 30% off, with discounts of 40% off for small game decoys and calls.
“The total liquidation sales at all Gander Mountain stores make gift-buying for Father’s Day a great way for savvy shoppers seeking high-quality merchandise by some of the most coveted outdoors brands on the market today,” said a spokesman for the venture.
“The early shopper will get the best merchandise. The key is to seize the opportunity now before the inventory sells out. Father’s Day shoppers can purchase everything from shooting and hunting supplies, boating and fishing equipment, outerwear apparel and footwear at rarely seen discounts,” the spokesperson said. Everything must be sold during this total liquidation event. All sales are final.
The St. Paul, Minn.-based retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on March 10 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota. A joint venture comprised of Great American Group, Tiger Capital Group, Gordon Brothers and Hilco Merchant Resources is conducting the store liquidations.
Fixtures and furniture are on sale at Gander Mountain stores as well.
