WILMINGTON, Del., May 08, 2018 -- Navient (Nasdaq:NAVI), a leading asset management and business processing services company, today announced it has received the “W” Company award from the 2020 Women on Boards organization. The award recognizes companies that champion board diversity by having 20 percent or more of their board seats held by women. Navient surpasses gender parity with more than 50 percent women on its board.
Currently, six of Navient's 11 directors are women. According to the 2020 Women on Boards Gender Diversity Directory, Navient's board has the highest percentage of women of any financial services company.
