“DLN is pleased to partner with the NFL Alumni Association” said Fred Leviton, CEO, Dental Lifeline Network. Like many Americans, there are Alumni members who have not been able to afford good dental care or who have stayed away from dental offices due to other medical conditions. Thanks to the generous DDS volunteer dentists, dental laboratories and supporters like NFL Alumni Association, DLN will be able to change more lives,” he noted.
The NFL Alumni Association is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and continues to assist and inform retired players and coaches in their post-NFL lives. The Association offers medical, financial, educational and social programs to keep members and their families healthy, productive and connected.
“We are excited to partner with Dental Lifeline Network to help our alumni receive care and restore their oral health,” said Elvis Gooden, Interim CEO of the NFL Alumni Association. “We believe that DLN’s mission aligns with ours to better serve and educate our members. We are proud to add Dental Lifeline Network to our list of programs that provide our members more medical assistance. We are particularly pleased that one of the areas covered under this new program for patient eligibility is dental health issues associated with concussions and joint replacements.”
Through its flagship Donated Dental Services (DDS) program, Dental Lifeline Network provides comprehensive dental care through a national network of 15,000 volunteer dentists; 3,700 volunteer laboratories. DLN provides much-needed help for individuals with serious dental problems.
