Japanese gaming peripheral/furniture maker Bauhutte has found a way to make gaming sessions even more luxuriously lazy with the Electric Gaming Bed.
While the idea behind the Gaming Bed is to facilitate spending an entire day gaming, Bauhutte realizes players probably don’t want to spend that whole day in the prone position.
The Electric Gaming Bed includes a controller that can be used to raise the bed frame's longitudinal ends, providing gamers with a backrest or elevated footrest.
There's also a single button that players can push to lift both at the same time, which speedrunners will appreciate.
The backrest can be adjusted to a 60-degree angle, while the thigh support section may be adjusted to a 35-degree angle.
The steel structure is 199 centimeters long by 94 centimeters broad and can handle up to 200 kilos of sleepers/gamers. Adjustable risers provide floor clearance of 13.8, 20, or 28.5 centimeters.
There's also a controller bag that can be clipped to the side of the frame.
The Electric Gaming Bed necessitates a more elastic mattress than normal models due to its reconfigurability. On Amazon Japan, Bauhutte offers a suitable Gaming Mattress as part of a bundle with the Electric Gaming Bed for 83,398 yen, with the bed alone costing 59,800 yen.
