“Money Heist” season 4 will be back with more exhilarating episodes, and this was confirmed after an early renewal order has been announced by Netflix. This drama is also known as “La Casa de Papel,” and this is actually its original title as it is a Spanish crime drama that first aired in Spain.
When this show, created by Álex Pina, was acquired by the streaming giant in late 2017, the series became popular, and the number of its viewers shoot up to millions. With excellent ratings and numerous viewers, it was not difficult for Netflix to renew “Money Heist” season 4 at all.
Spoilers - what to expect
The third season ended with many blood-pumping scenes as the thieves were surrounded by the authorities when they were robbing the bank of Spain. Some of the members were also shot like Nairobi.
Speaking of being shot, while Nairobi fell to the ground and appeared to be dying, video teaser for “Money Heist” season 4 showed that she lived. This is because she was still in the lineup when the thieves were shown one by one. However, there could be plot twists, and Nairobi could still disappear.
There is a theory that war with the police will erupt as El Profesor will be so vexed as it was predicted that his love, Lisbon, will die. He will declare war for revenge, and even though they are surrounded, their advanced machinery will help them fight back and get away despite the injuries sustained by the team members.
Returning cast
“Money Heist” season 4 might introduce new members to replace those who will exit due to death, but then again, their names are not yet available. For the confirmed characters who will return, they are El Profesor (Álvaro Morte), Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serna), Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), Nairobi (Alba Flores), Denver (Jaime Lorente Lopez), Helsinki (Darko Peric), Monica/Stockholm (Esther Acebo), Bogotá (Hovik Keuchkerian), Raquel/Lisbon (Itziar Ituño), Marsella (Luka Peros) and Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri).
Release date
“Money Heist” season 4 will be back on April 3, as per What’s on Netflix. All 10 episodes are expected to be dropped all at once.
