Michael Schumacher’s exact health condition is still unknown and fans can only get updates about him when his friends or colleagues share something during interviews. As everyone already knows, the F1 legend’s family refuses to divulge information about the state of his health so how he is doing these days is still a big mystery.

Now, there is a new health update about Michael Schumacher and it is all thanks to his former boss at Ferrari, Jean Todt. He recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Auto Bild, a German magazine, and while receiving his award, he mentioned the racing champ and talked about his close relationship with him.

The ex Ferrari boss and now president of FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) almost cried while accepting his award and talking about Michael Schumacher. He said that up to now, he visits the F1 legend at least twice a month because that is how much he loves and treasures Schumi.

Jean Todt also shared that photos of Michael Schumacher even decorate his offices and even his home because he will always remember being with him as one of those best times in his life. “We love each other because we wrote an incredible story together. And because we always stuck together in difficult times,” he said during his speech via Mirror.

In any case, according to Jen Todt, Michael Schumacher is doing well these days. He said that the 49-year-old former racing champ is still being treated in his home in Switzerland and he is one of the family’s friends who are allowed to visit him thus he knows about his health condition.

Meanwhile, another person who was able to visit Michael Schumacher was Georg Gänswein, German archbishop. He paid him a visit two years ago and he said that the racer’s face looks a little fuller at that time and he looks exactly the way he was prior to his skiing accident.

"I sat opposite him, took hold of both hands and looked at him," the 62-year-old archbishop narrated to Bild.
