RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 23, 2018 --
WHO:
TechCode is a global network of startup incubators and entrepreneurial ecosystems that provides acceleration, strategic counsel and venture funding to companies all over the world.
HQ Community offers a broad range of workspaces and collaborative community for high-growth, high-impact professionals in North Carolina seeking a highly dynamic and inspiring work environment.
WHAT:
In keeping with TechCode’s goal to provide a global innovation ecosystem for innovative startups to grow efficiently and reach key markets, TechCode has partnered with HQ Community of North Carolina. This partnership will aim to create a window to the global market for North Carolina startups by integrating HQ Community’s innovation platform in North Carolina with TechCode’s global network.
Through the partnership, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro area startups can now apply to TechCode’s global accelerator program, which focuses on early-stage startups that have an objective to scale and operate globally, especially in China. Through its partnership with CFLD, a leader in investment and operation of new industrial Chinese cities, TechCode will provide accelerator participants with hands-on supply chain support, distribution, manufacturing and retail connections in the U.S., China and Europe. In addition, TechCode will support startups with mentorship, technical support, finding talent and syndicating and closing funding rounds.
Additionally, TechCode will also work to support North Carolina’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by engaging with HQ Community’s partners and local network. The partnership will continue expanding in early 2018, with joint innovation events and expansion opportunities offered exclusively to startups in North Carolina.
Christopher Gergen, a founding partner of HQ Community, says, “This partnership offers a truly unique opportunity for HQ member companies to accelerate their growth into a global marketplace with TechCode’s support. We also hope it will be an opportunity to introduce more companies and capital to North Carolina’s burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
Luke Tang, General Manager of TechCode U.S., describes the partnership with HQ Community as “an exciting opportunity to connect TechCode’s global network to the flourishing innovation economy that is rapidly developing in North Carolina and to also help propel North Carolina startups into global markets.”
