HERNDON, Va., Jan. 18, 2018 -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) today announced a five-year $35.9 million single award IDIQ contract with the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to provide engineering and technical services for the Combat Integration & Identification Systems (CI&IDS) Division.
Under the agreement, ManTech will provide services that support combat identification, non-cooperative target recognition (NCTR), air traffic control (ATC) equipment, systems and subsystems, and advanced technologies development for U.S. Navy vessels.
“With this latest re-compete win, ManTech extends our support of U.S. Navy combat ID systems to the quarter century mark,” said Daniel J. Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Mission Solutions & Services Group. “We are proud to help ensure the success of their missions and the safety of American military lives with solutions that identify friendly versus enemy aircraft in live combat scenarios.”
ManTech provides systems engineering, software development and Risk Management Framework/Cyber for Navy ATC and combat systems that identify both cooperative and non-cooperative aircraft. ManTech designed SARTIS, one of the first systems developed to single out hostile radar by its unique signals, and continues to advance the field of shipboard electronics and combat ID for NAWCAD.
