EA Sports expands the story campaign experience in the upcoming “Madden NFL 20” through the introduction of the “Face of the Franchise: QB1.” It will also allow avid fans of the sports to somehow revisit college football video game simulation.
Developers have recently revealed more information on the gameplay features of “Face of the Franchise: QB1” in “Madden NFL 20.” It is practically one mode to be offered in the Franchise mode of the 2019 installment.
This career campaign in “Madden NFL 20” is different in a way that the EA Sports offers another level of personalization of the QB. “It kicks off with creating yourself as a quarterback – even using “face editing” to get an improved likeness,” EA teased. “We crafted Face of the Franchise: QB1, where the story is not only about you, but one where the choices you make matter.”
Career modes in sports video game simulations typically start when the character is already in the league. But in “Madden NFL 20’s” new gameplay, players will start the story of their characters in college. Part of “Face of the Franchise: QB1” is choosing one of the available NCAA Division 1 schools in the video game. With the “NCAA Football” video game series on hiatus since 2014, this is closest and official NCAA video game simulation football fans can get.
From there, gamers will guide their characters through advancing in the pro league. EA Sports completes the experience in “Madden NFL 20” by adding the NFL Combine and NFL Draft events — two crucial steps in becoming a professional American football player.
To gain an advantage in the “Face of the Franchise: QB1” players can pre-order any bundle edition of “Madden NFL 20.” Players can choose one Unique Superstar Ability to upgrade the athlete they will be creating in the game.
“Madden NFL 20” will be officially released on Aug. 2. But players pre-ordering the Superstar and Ultimate Superstar Editions for $79.99 and $99.99, respectively, are getting an exclusive three-day Early Access.
