GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn., April 23, 2018 -- Minnesota United today announced a multi-year partnership with Atomic Data to make Atomic Data the Official Wi-Fi, IT and Cloud Partner of MNUFC. This partnership builds on and reinforces the established relationship between Atomic Data and MNUFC, with Atomic Data already serving as the power behind the Allianz Field Experience Center and providing day-to-day IT support for the MNUFC front office since 2014.
“Allianz Field will truly be the crown jewel of the Midway area,” said Atomic Data CEO Jim Wolford, “and Atomic Data is extremely proud to be the Official Information Technology, Wi-Fi and Cloud Partner, bringing networks, fan-facing Wi-Fi, IT security and support to all major events at this world-class stadium.”
Atomic Data will be responsible for designing, building, managing, monitoring, and supporting the local area network (LAN), IP telephone system and fan facing Wi-Fi at Allianz Field when the stadium opens in the Midway neighborhood of St. Paul in 2019. The stadium network will include over 400 wireless access points, providing fans with broad coverage and cutting-edge connectivity. Atomic Data will provide stadium technology consulting throughout the construction of Allianz Field as well as on-site and remote match-day support once the stadium is completed. Atomic Data will receive exclusive naming rights for the Wi-Fi network and both digital and physical branding within the stadium.
“Our goal is for Allianz Field to be the premier destination for soccer not just in Minnesota, but in the Midwest and even the country,” said MNUFC CEO Chris Wright. “Today, that means providing fans a top-of-the-line digital experience on top of everything else. Connecting the community and connecting our community to us is a top priority, as is working with companies who share our core values like inclusivity, dedication, teamwork and respect. We’re confident that Atomic Data is the right partner to help us make every match day and every event connected, interactive and unforgettable.”
