ATLANTA, GA, Dec. 14, 2017 -- Luvu Brands, Inc., (OTCQB: LUVU), a manufacturer and marketer of lifestyle consumer brands in the categories of sexual wellness, comfort top-of-bed accessories and fashion beanbags and sofas, today announced the launch of an innovative daybed-in-a-box from its Jaxx Living division.
Headlining a series of new product developments is the Alon™ Daybed. A convertible daybed-in-a-box, the Alon is crafted with a pair of viscoelastic / polyurethane foam platforms that can easily transform into a queen-size sleeper. Each daybed comes with solid maple feet that are easily secured to a hidden wood base. The Alon Daybed is packed flat in an easy to manage box and delivered directly to the consumer or sold in retail stores.
“When designing our new daybed-in-a-box, we set out to craft a high-end product that would also be cost-effective in terms of shipping and in-store display. Jaxx is constantly striving to create value with our furniture designs in a palette of decor micro-velvets and chenille fabrics,” said Louis Friedman, founder and chief executive officer. “Using the latest in vacuum compression technology, the Alon Daybed is packaged in a 30 by 34 by 14 inch box and is easy for consumers to carry home, even in the smallest of vehicles.”
“As an American company, we have the opportunity of designing and manufacturing our own products,” said Friedman. “That fact alone allows us to quickly respond and adapt to customer feedback. So, when our customers asked us to develop a modular daybed system that was both on trend and affordable, we were up for the challenge. ”
The Alon Daybed is sold online at JaxxLiving.com. Available in a variety of fabric tones and textures, the daybed-in-a-box has an MSRP of $950.00 and is offered with standard free shipping in the continental U.S.
