BOSTON, Sept. 23, 2016 -- LogMeIn, Inc.’s (NASDAQ:LOGM) remote support solution, Rescue Lens, has been awarded first place at the 10th Annual CTIA Emerging Technology Awards in the Mobile Customer Experience Management & Data Analytics category.
Rescue Lens is a video-aided support capability aimed at addressing the new needs of today's connected customer. Using a secure, live camera feed from a customer's or employee's mobile device, Rescue Lens empowers customer service agents to see and remotely assist with product issues that are reported by customers, employees or other field technicians, as if the product were directly in front of them. Customer service staff can now remotely guide these users through product setup, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and more, for virtually any connected or yet-to-be-connected product. As a result, companies can reimagine how they deliver customer service, field service, and IT support to help reduce returns, decrease costly onsite support costs, boost customer satisfaction, and even create new service offerings.
“Rescue Lens is changing the way many companies approach customer service. By incorporating video into the support process agents can resolve issues quickly and effectively, resulting in more satisfied customers while also cutting costs by major margins," said Dave Campbell, Vice President, Customer Engagement and Support Solutions, LogMeIn. “Our goal is to help organizations create delightful innovative experiences that attract and retain customers. Being honored by CTIA for excellence in customer experience helps confirm that we are staying true to that mission.”
A panel of 35 industry experts and analysts judged submissions across 15 award categories to determine the finalists and winners. The winners represent the latest innovation in mobile products and services that have the power to transform networks, businesses, smart cities and connected consumers. Newell Thompson, Vice President, Category Marketing, Technology & Telecommunications, Time Inc. presented the winners at the live awards ceremony at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
