Anime fans have many returning shows to look forward to in the spring season, including “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2. To keep the hype up, a new official promo video has been released, teasing there will be more romantic scenes between the main protagonists, Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War’ season 2 spoilers: What to expect
The series revolves around Kaguya and Miyuki’s very unique kind of love story. They are both genius students in a prestigious high school and working together as president and vice president of the student council. After spending much time together, they have fallen in love.
However, their intelligence and overall being great students may have made them too proud to admit they are in love. More importantly, they both believe that showing emotions and admitting their feelings will make them the inferior one in the relationship. They are now hell-bent in making the other confess by devising schemes every day, essentially hoping the other person falls into it like a trap.
Based on the pacing of season 1 and the possible episode count for “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2, anime fans might not see a real confession yet at this installment. But that does not mean season 2 is any less exciting.
As shown in the latest “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 promo video, Miyuki and Kaguya will continue to share adorable moments together. Anime fans should expect these scenes to only intensify as the series moves along. At one point in the trailer, Kaguya even leans in toward Miyuki, suggesting that she goes in for a kiss.
‘Kaguya-sama: Love Is War’ season 2 release date
“Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” was one of the anime shows that debuted in 2019, and when its second season was not announced shortly after the season finale, many fans were worried it is unlikely getting renewed. However, that was not the case as the show’s continuation was confirmed before the end of 2019.
“Kaguya-sama: Love Is War” season 2 will premiere on Saturday, April 11. Fans in Japan can watch it through local TV networks, while viewers around the world will likely access it to official streaming platforms for the simulcast every episode.
