Gege Akutami’s increasingly popular manga series is back with a new installment in a few days. While the previous made it seem like the fight is over, “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133 is going to introduce a new threat to Yuji’s life.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ chapter 133 spoilers: Mahito is defeated, but Yuji’s fight isn’t over
With the threat posed by Mahito is gone in “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133, other characters have room to think about what should happen next. In one of the leaked spoilers, Kusakabe and Panda appear to be in the middle of a discussion when the Jujutsu High teacher declares he will not side with Yuji with regards to his execution.
Kusakabe has been known as a character who easily fears. But to be fair, Yuji has also done some questionable actions throughout the Shibuya Incident arc that warrants Kusakabe’s suggestion in “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133 for Yuji’s execution to proceed.
It can be recalled that the higher-ups of the sorcerer world have ruled that Yuji should be executed after it was discovered that is the perfect vessel for Sukuna. Gojo managed to convince them to defer his death arguing that Yuji is vital in ultimately eliminating Sukuna. While Yuji’s execution has been part of the story from the beginning, it poses a different level of threat now that Gojo has been sealed.
Gojo has been one of the very few people in the jujutsu world advocating for the delay of Yuji’s execution until all of Sukuna’s fingers are collected. Also, if ever Sukuna goes ballistic using Yuji’s body, Gojo is likely the one sorcerer who can stop him. Another sorcerer who could have the ability to suppress Sukuna was Nanami, but he has also died.
Meanwhile, the other “Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133 spoilers indicate that the manga will also provide updates on the current condition of other sorcerers involved in fighting Mahito. The source, however, does not specifically mention anything about Nobara. As most fans have guessed, Geto will also “collect” Mahito following his defeat from Yuji.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ chapter 133 release date, where to read
“Jujutsu Kaisen” chapter 133 will be finally released on Sunday, Dec. 20 through the next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. Fans from different parts of the world can read the official translation for free through Manga Plus and Shonen Jump via Viz Media’s website.
