RACINE, Wis., Feb. 26, 2016 -- Johnson Outdoors Inc. (Nasdaq:JOUT), a leading global outdoor recreation equipment company, will hold its annual shareholder meeting on March 2, 2016 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Time at the Company’s global headquarters, located at 555 Main Street in Racine, Wisconsin. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
A live listen-only web cast of the Annual Meeting may also be accessed at Johnson Outdoors' home page. A replay of the audio cast will be available for 30 days on the Internet.
At the meeting, shareholders will: 1) elect directors for the coming year, 2) ratify the appointment of independent auditors, and 3) advise on executive compensation. Items two and three are non-binding votes.
All shareholders of record as of December 23, 2015 are eligible to vote upon these matters, and will find information pertinent to the items in the Company’s Annual Meeting proxy statement mailed to shareholders on or about January 12, 2016 and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 20, 2016. After completion of voting, management will discuss marketplace conditions and the Company’s strategies for sustained profitable growth.
