Indianapolis, IN, June 27, 2017 -- DirectEmployers, a nonprofit HR consortium of talent acquisition and OFCCP compliance professionals, announced today the addition of Jennifer Polcer as Vice President of Compliance, further solidifying its team of experts who have hands-on practical experience managing federal contractor obligations.
“Jennifer truly understands who we are as a company and is the perfect fit to continue advancing our compliance team,” commented Candee Chambers, DirectEmployers Executive Director and the Association’s former Deputy Executive Director and Vice President of Compliance and Partnerships. “I am excited about the opportunities and strategic plans that lie ahead for our team, and look forward to working alongside Jennifer and our leadership team to deliver the outstanding support and guidance to which members have become accustomed to.”
As a former member and avid DirectEmployers advocate, Polcer brings a wide-range of compliance knowledge to the Association’s already extensive team. In addition to having a background in OFCCP compliance activities and employment law analysis, Polcer has a skilled background in Affirmative Action Planning, with extensive knowledge in the development and defense of Functional Affirmative Action Programs (FAAPs).
Polcer joins the DirectEmployers team in Indianapolis after having resided in Hawaii for nearly 13 years, seven of which were spent working for government contractor and member organization, Hawaiian Airlines, and six at member organization, Hyatt. As the Vice President of the compliance team, Polcer will be a resource to the organization’s nearly 900 members seeking guidance on OFCCP compliance related matters pertaining to Affirmative Action, audit advocacy and additional education surrounding government contractor obligations. Along with her dedicated team, Polcer will also manage the partnership with the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA), and co-manage the National Labor Exchange (NLx)–the nation’s first electronic labor exchange developed as a collaborative effort between employers and state workforce agencies.
“I’m honored to lead DirectEmployers Compliance Team, a team known for its stellar service, as well as the superior guidance they provide to members of the Association. These factors and the personalized touch DirectEmployers is known for are truly what makes us special,” commented Polcer. “I look forward to continuing that same level of service and helping the Association achieve its goals and raise the bar set for industry standards.”
As a result of Polcer’s compliance skills and her addition to the Association’s leadership team, members will now have access to a team of professionals–including former practitioner, now Executive Director, Candee Chambers, employment law expert, John C. Fox, and former OFCCP Deputy Director, Joyce Morgan–each of whom work together to address all compliance concerns posed by the membership.
