Italian industrial production output rises year-on-year in September

Italian industrial production output grew on a year-on-year basis in September, whereas it dropped on the sequential basis. According to Istat, the seasonally adjusted industrial production index fell 0.2 percent sequentially. The percentage change of the average of the last three months with respect to the previous three months was -0.2.

The calendar adjusted industrial production index rose 1.3 percent year-on-year. In the January to September 2018 period, the percentage change was +1.7 compared with the same period of 2017. The unadjusted industrial production index dropped 1.8 percent compared with September 2017.
