New York, NY. , March 29, 2018 -- Petzbe, an online community designed specifically for pets, today named Instagram’s most famous cat, NalaCat (3.5M Instagram followers) and her siblings White Coffee Cat, Luna Rose and Spencer as principals of the platform.
“My siblings and I have always enjoyed the Petzbe community, and with this ownership stake, we are thrilled to officially become part of its founding family alongside Angus, CEO, and his human and company President – Andrea Nerep,” purred Nala Cat. “Petzbe users have been so kind and loving to my siblings, myself and each other, continuing to bring us joy by digitally connecting with our pet sisters and brothers. The community truly creates a unique, supportive feel and we look forward to showing our love and support for all Petzbe users.”
In this role, NalaCat and her siblings will support the marketing efforts surrounding the recent launch of the Petzbe app for iOS. Together they have a combined, loyal following of over five million Instagram users. Additionally, the feline quad squad has actively engaged with Petzbe users, proving that your fame and status are not what matters in this app – it’s all about the heart and sentiment behind the dog or cat’s posts.
“We’re excited to welcome NalaCat as a Principal of Petzbe, as she’s been an important part of our community with her purrrific posts and loving comments that further add to the app’s silliness,” barked Angus Tegner, a Brussels Griffon, and CEO and co-founder of Petzbe. “NalaCat and her siblings are the embodiment of what Petzbe is, a community where no dog or cat is better than another, and everyone feels loved. NalaCat’s participation shows that there is no judgment over status or lifestyle, all dogs and cats are given the same amount of love and affection that they deserve.”
In the Petzbe app, users “sniff” and “lick” each other instead of following and liking to engage with one another. In-app stickers help users customize their posts and sections like Petzbe Challenges and Petzbe Press engage the users through photo features or drive them to post pics for a certain cause. The app provides a “no humans allowed’ platform for dogs and cats to interact with one another, free from human silliness.
Petzbe is now available in the iOS app store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/petzbe/id1314000163?mt=8
About Petzbe
Petzbe is a community where users share their lives and communicate with other pets from the pets’ perspective. Through Petzbe’s “no humans allowed" policy, pets are freed from human selfies, opinions, politics and overall human complications. It’s a silly, loving, witty and fun feel-good community that gives pets and their owners the sense of belonging that we fundamentally need, without any competitive or comparative elements. There’s no such thing as oversharing cat and dog photos on Petzbe, so pets and their owners are free to express themselves and communicate with the community as often as they’d like. At Petzbe, we’re making all who use it feel valued and appreciated.
