NEWARK, N.J., March 07, 2017 -- Phone.com, a leading provider of business communication and collaboration tools, will feature new APIs that integrate with artificial intelligence (AI) personal assistants and customer relationship management (CRM) at the TechBreakfast Showcase during SXSW.
As hardware from Google, Amazon and others vie for supremacy in the home Internet of Things (IoT) arena, API integration will become even more important. Phone.com will showcase a working integration with an IoT platform used to place calls through your Phone.com account.
“This is a logical next step for these devices,” said Phone.com CTO and Executive Vice President Alon Cohen. “Both Amazon and Google are reportedly considering adding phone calls to their devices, but using APIs we can already accomplish this.”
Phone.com will also unveil an updated CRM integration during SXSW. Working with the best and most trusted software partners, Phone.com is giving sales and marketing teams at small and medium businesses a truly integrated phone and CRM solution that makes tracking leads through the sales funnel easy.
“We have offered limited CRM integration in the past through partners that were useful to our customers,” said Phone.com CEO Ari Rabban. “Our improved CRM Integration was built from the ground up using our latest APIs to be robust, extensible, customizable and easy to use for our clients’ sales organizations.”
Like Phone.com’s class-leading communications and collaboration services in the cloud, these features are purpose built for the needs of micro-startups and medium-sized businesses, yet scalable to grow with our clients.
“Our APIs and feature updates are a direct response to address the challenges that our clients face as they scale,” Rabban said. “We are very excited to have this platform at the SXSW TechBreakfast Showcase to showcase these new features and explore how they will transform business.”
The SXSW TechBreakfast Showcase takes place on March 12 at 9 a.m. and features 25 demos, 15 display kiosks, giveaways, a breakfast buffet and thousands of attendees from the fields of software, hardware, robots, nanotech, biotech and more.
