The company has established relationships with el Banco Agrario, Banco de Bogota (https://www.bancodebogota.com/wps/portal/banco-de-bogota/bogota/empresas/) and Bancolombia (https://www.grupobancolombia.com/wps/portal/personas) whereby community companies involved with Sachi Inchi production may receive loans to fund their businesses. For each loan process set up by community businesses for Sachi Inchi production, Inca Worldwide will receive from 3 to 10% of the loan amount. Additionally, Inca Worldwide will receive from 3 to 10% of all revenue earned by any company established for the communities regarding Sachi Inchi farming, production and reselling the products. These companies may include, for example, those producing organic fertilizer from the Sacha Inchi star (i.e., the leftover seed pod after the seeds have been removed), organic tea from the leaves of Sacha Inchi, and Sacha Inchi planting frames from recycle plastic and other subproducts.
Already, the company has generated an income of 3% of the total loan for the contract signed in October 2017 with three communities in Choco. Additional contracts with other communities are scheduled for implementation in the November and December time frames. This franchise fees are separate from our regular model of buying seeds from the farmers, processing them and selling them to wholesale customers and retail customers, and other entities.
