PITTSBURGH, Jan. 26, 2017 -- II-VI Incorporated (NASDAQ:IIVI), a global leader in engineered materials for optics, optical systems and optoelectronic devices, today announced that it will present a series of innovations at SPIE Photonics West, Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2017, in San Francisco, CA, Booth #1833 and at BiOS Expo in Booth #8541. II-VI will showcase a broad portfolio of products, including high power semiconductor lasers, laser optics, precision optics and beam delivery solutions, for laser-based materials processing equipment, metrology equipment in life sciences, semiconductor equipment, optical communications, 3D sensing and the military. II-VI will also give technical presentations at the LASE conference, participate on an executive panel discussion and present at the PRISM Awards ceremony.
Product Highlights:
Semiconductor lasers: II-VI will showcase its new 170 W passively cooled and 250 W actively cooled laser bars for direct diode lasers, as well as the new 976 nm wavelength-stabilized multimode pump laser modules with up to 20 Watts of output power for ultrafast fiber lasers.
High power laser optics, beam delivery and processing heads: Highlights of the II-VI laser optics product line will include 10 kW class optics for fiber and direct diode lasers, CO2 laser optics with diamond overcoat for high durability, and multi-band coated optics for hybrid laser processing systems. Processing heads, laser light cables and fiber-fiber couplers for 1 µm laser systems complement II-VI’s portfolio for high power laser materials processing applications.
Multiple beam delivery solution and precision optics: II-VI will also unveil at Photonics West its new Power EqualizIR multiple beam delivery solution for laser-based semiconductor equipment, a broad range of precision polygon scanner mirror designs for high speed laser scanners, as well as a new complete portfolio of filters for fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy.
