EVANS, Ga., July 17, 2017 -- Hill Top Animal Hospital announced its options for boarding pets this summer. Dogs and cats are accommodated in a variety of spacious and comfortable ways. This allows pet owners and their families to travel without having to worry about the health and safety of their furry companions.
Pet owners always have to make extra plans when they decide to go on vacation as they need to think about how to take care of their pets while they’re away. Taking pets along is an option, but it involves finding a succession of accommodations that will allow pets into rooms. It is also a problem when the car is to be filled with human travelers. Therefore, pets are typically boarded instead.
"Boarding pets isn't just a matter of dropping them off at the nearest kennel or cattery. Instead, pet owners need to be sure that their animals will have enough space to be comfortable, be well-fed, and have plenty of fresh, clean water. We make sure to satisfy all of these needs and more. Our indoor kennels are 6'x6', and our kennels with outdoor runs are 6'x4'. Our cat enclosures are also spacious. They're large enough to hold two housemates each without cramping," said Dr. Ian Scholer D.V.M. of Hill Top Animal Hospital.
Size isn't all that Hill Top Animal Hospital offers to its boarders. Dogs are let out at least four times daily and enjoy plenty of supervised play. Cats, on the other hand, can be treated to calming pheromone mists at the request of their owners. The animal hospital will also administer any needed medications at no additional cost. It allows pet owners to drop off specific foods for their animals if preferred; otherwise, pets are fed a veterinarian approved kibble. Either way, there is never a problem when it comes to food.
"Another perk of leaving dogs here is the bathing option. Owners can ask us to bathe their canine pets while they're gone, and they'll come back to a clean and fresh-smelling dog. This is a great convenience for people who will have to rush right back to work the day after they get back home," Dr. Scholer added.
Thanks to these options, boarding pets will be much easier for the residents of Evans, Georgia and the surrounding areas. Vacations will then be enjoyable for both the traveling humans and the boarded animals.
