GLENDALE, Calif., Jan. 18, 2018 -- Health Data Vision, Inc. (HDVI), a leading provider of medical records software for health plan issuers in all lines of government and commercial lines of business, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and Commercial ACA, announced today the availability of MRCS version 4.3, an enterprise-grade, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for Risk Adjustment, Quality Improvement, and Audit initiatives.
"When I started last May, I focused on providing greater value within the HDVI experience," said Kevin Owens, VP of Product. "As a direct result of customer feedback, we've included the following improvements in the 4.3 release: an enhanced HEDIS rules engine with more powerful chart query capabilities, a revamped customer engagement portal, and improved provider outreach workflow."
The enhanced HEDIS rules engine provides customers with powerful and detailed scoring at the Member, Chase and Numerator (HEDIS Measure) level. It has been approved by all our auditors and is already delivering value, validating the results of chart reviews for customers. The revamped Pend Notification Center is where customers are engaged about chart issues and the chart retrieval process. Client administrators can now opt-in to email notifications for new and updated Pends, and charts are now associated with Pends automatically when an issue is logged, simplifying the resolution process.
The Provider Outreach workflow has been improved with the integration of a call tracking module, tracking the results of each provider contact-attempts and tying that activity back into MRCS. A Pend can be autogenerated after a certain number of attempts are made, with detailed reports for every provider contacted for a project. Soon we are also adding an integration with Jive Communications' click-to-call functionality, for ease-of-use by Provider Service Reps (ours or yours, utilizing MRCS on a licensed basis).
"Under Kevin’s leadership, HDVI has taken a big step forward in delivering innovation that benefits our customer, their providers, and our internal client services team," remarked HDVI CEO Jay Ackerman. "The roadmap in front of us is bold and aggressive."
HDVI will soon be announcing new tools and solutions to help customers accelerate their onboarding and learning process. Third-party applications from Walkme, Pingdom and ZenDesk will provide customers with best-of-breed tools for training, support and system up-time analytics. We will also be releasing this year a mobile app (iPhone/iPad) for on-the-go monitoring of the Pend Notification Center.
