NEW YORK, March 03, 2016 -- Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Steven Friedman will join the firm as a Senior Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group, focusing on the insurance sector.

Mr. Friedman joins from Greenhill & Co., where he served as Head of Financial Services. Prior to joining Greenhill, he served as Co-Head of the North American Insurance practice at UBS Investment Bank, following his time at Credit Suisse First Boston as a member of the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Friedman began his career as a lawyer with White & Chase.
Mr. Friedman graduated from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and received his J.D. from Tulane Law School.
