The negotiation is going to take place at the EA Head of States level, though a Eurogroup meeting will also be held on Monday afternoon, after the unsuccessful meeting last Thursday.
This is seen as the last chance to broker a deal, a deal is possible but the discussions are likely to last until the end of the current programme (30 June).
A possible option at this stage would be that the euro area Summit finds a political agreement and decides a short extension of the programme, allowing the technical negotiations to continue at least until the ECB debt repayment on 20th July.
