A new Google Pixel 3 leak just revealed a major issue with the upgraded version; the Google Pixel 3XL. This bigger iteration is expected to have a larger screen, which would have been a good thing if it wasn’t for the fact that there could be a battery problem. It’s basically smaller than what’s offered in the other Google Pixel 3 devices and this is just one of the issues that the leak reveals.
This latest development is courtesy of a YouTube video posted by Android Police, which shows a couple of problems when it comes to this upgraded version of the Google Pixel 3. To start with, it would seem that the battery size is only 3,430mAh. This is alarmingly small, particularly given that it will be in a much larger phone than the original Google Pixel 3.
As Forbes points out, the original Pixel phone had 3,450mAh. Comparatively speaking, this is bigger than what this Google Pixel 3 leak shows the 3XL will sport. Most of the other details about the device will not likely be an issue, but this is going to be a deal-breaker for a lot of users.
Speaking of things that buyers might have an issue with, the Google Pixel 3 leak also showed how the device is going to have a massive notch. While every other company is fast going in the other direction, based on this one prototype, it seems Google is choosing to go the opposite way. This is likely to cause some major concern among segments of the mobile community that despise the notch.
Even looking at the video, it’s clear that his particular prototype of the upgraded version of the Google Pixel 3 has a bigger and more pronounced notch than most other smartphones in the market. Then again, this is just a prototype, so the final product might be drastically different.
