PALO ALTO, Calif., May 23, 2017 -- Geminare, a leader in IT Resilience Orchestration and Automation (ITRO), announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued US Patent No. 9,674,268, “System and method for providing data and application continuity in a computer system,” which will publish on June 6th, 2017. This marks the third USPTO patent to be issued to Geminare for its Resiliency Management Platform.
The Resiliency Management Platform (RMP), recently included in Gartner’s Market Guide for IT Resilience Orchestration Automation1, ID: G00314071, is in use by leading service providers including Gartner Magic Quadrant leaders to bring differentiated capabilities to their Cloud solutions. The issuance of a third patent for the RMP highlights its technological maturity, unique market position, and capabilities; clear requirements faced by service providers when advanced orchestration and automation are necessary within their hybrid Cloud solutions.
“Geminare is honored to receive continued recognition from such an important area in the industry,” stated Joshua Geist, Geminare’s CEO. “Knowing that the foundation of our Platform is unique in the industry helps to reinforce a clear direction as we advance our technology lead to the next level with service provider enabled and orchestrated machine learning solutions, predictive analytics, and hybrid deployed application templates.”
The RMP is one of the most mature IT Resilience Orchestration and Automation (ITRO) Platforms delivered through a multi-vendor, technology-neutral approach. The RMP, through sophisticated and patented role based access control (RBAC) allows the broadest range of hybrid technologies to be simultaneously leveraged and orchestrated at enterprise sites, hybrid Cloud deployments, service providers, and directly by customers through a self-service interface.
Enhancing the existing base of feature-rich process automation and complex built-in orchestration capabilities, the RMP contains a catalog of 1000+ prebuilt Application Templates. This catalog forms the basis for the RMP’s Solution Gallery which contains an ever-expanding spectrum of hybrid solutions that today covers big data analytics, machine learning and predictive analysis, security infrastructure configurations, cloud utilization and optimization, deployment and migration, cost forecasting, and GDPR compliance.
