BROOKFIELD, Wis., Feb. 21, 2018 -- Connecture, Inc. (OTCQX:CNXR) and Geisinger Health Plan announced today that they have signed a multi-year contract to significantly expand their current business partnership. Specifically, the companies will roll out a more comprehensive technology solution that builds on the initial Medicare-shopping platform Connecture launched for Geisinger Health Plan in 2012. The new system will provide web-based shopping and enrollment for Geisinger’s Medicare Advantage, Small Group and Individual & Family products along with digital quoting tools for brokers and call center agents.

Geisinger is one of the largest health services organizations in the country, and includes Geisinger Health Plan, which currently serves over 583,000 members in various communities throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to market-leading decision-support functionality for members, the extended partnership with Connecture offers Geisinger’s brokers more flexibility with a tablet-based application for mobile quoting, field enrollment and member acquisition. It also includes a customized data and analytics package to help Geisinger improve application conversion, completion rates and renewals.
“Expanding our current partnership with Connecture makes perfect sense to us, especially given our previous successes together in the Medicare market,” said Chris Fanning, chief sales and marketing officer at Geisinger Health Plan. “As we continue to scale across all lines of business, we wanted a partner that would not only grow with us, but also have the flexibility to integrate with our claims and CRM systems, so we can add more value to both our members and brokers. Connecture was our first choice in tackling these goals.”
“Geisinger has always been a forward-thinking partner, carefully incorporating both innovation and diligence into their market strategy,” said Connecture President and CEO Jeff Surges. “Together, we’ll continue to build on that winning approach with richer data-driven processes that not only help Geisinger deepen their relationships with brokers and call center agents, but also ensure their members have an easy and meaningful experience getting the personalized coverage they need.”
For nearly two decades, Connecture has worked hand-in-hand with payers, CMS, brokers and government agencies to create quoting, shopping, enrollment and engagement products that help people confidently enroll in their best-fit health plan. Connecture’s smart technology drives improved acquisition and retention while also helping health plans with their strategies around reducing costs, increasing member loyalty and enabling them to retain members through every stage of life.
