  • Australia: National Bank’s business confidence improves to 7 in September. Business condition index is flat at 14.
     
  • Japan: Eco watchers’ current index improves to 51.3 in September while outlook declines to 51

Upcoming:

  • Switzerland: Unemployment report will be released at 5:45 GMT.
     
  • Germany: August trade balance report will be released at 6:00 GMT.
     
  • France: August industrial output report will be released at 6:45 GMT.
     
  • Italy: Industrial output report for August will be released at 8:00 GMT
     
  • United Kingdom: Industrial and manufacturing production numbers for August will be released at 8:30 GMT. NIESR will release September GDP estimate at 12:00 GMT.
     
  • Greece: August industrial production report and September inflation report will be released at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • United States: NFIB business optimism report will be published at 10:00 GMT. TIPP economic optimism report will be published at 14:00 GMT. FOMC member Kashkari will speak at 14:00 GMT.
     
  • Portugal: Global trade balance report will be released at 10:00 GMT.
     
  • Canada: Housing starts report will be released at 12:15 GMT, followed by building permits report at 12:30 GMT.
     
  • Australia: Westpac consumer confidence report will be published at 23:30 GMT.
     
  • Japan: August Machinery reports will be released at 23:50 GMT.
     
  • Auction: U.S. will auction 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month bills at 15:30 GMT.
