The collaboration was unveiled this week by Safe Harbor Marinas to its boat and marina customers as part of a new SHM Platinum Card promotion. As a major feature of a newly launched SHM Platinum Card, marina Members who sign up will enjoy special customized rates and exclusive ‘standby access’ to the Freedom Boat Club fleet wherever joint club and marina locations are situated.
Currently, Freedom Boat Club operates from 14 SHM throughout North America including Florida, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and California. Both parties expect to expand that coverage to include more franchise opportunities in the future.
“Marina relationships are very important to our business, and we work with many of the best operators in the business including a long-standing relationship with Safe Harbor Marinas,” said John Giglio, Freedom Boat Club President and CEO. “We are very pleased to provide added value to the SHM operation to benefit its Members, and we believe this enhanced relationship delivers a win-win for all involved.”
Baxter Underwood, CEO of Safe Harbor Marinas added, “This partnership demonstrates the power of our complementary national platforms. Together, we are offering Safe Harbor Members the ability to boat across the entire country with the nation’s premiere boat club.”
