“For Honor” Season 8 is almost here in the form of “Marching Fire,” which is set to be introduced to fans via a live stream that is scheduled on Oct. 11. The new content becomes available to fans days after that, which is great for those who are still playing the game. The medieval online hack n’ slash title has been struggling to maintain its player base for some time and this upcoming event should boost those numbers.
Interested viewers can watch the stream for “For Honor” Season 8, via the game’s Twitch account. For those who may not know what it is, the game’s website describes this newest update in detail. Not only will there be a new faction, but there will apparently also be new game modes.
“For Honor’s biggest and most ambitious update ever is coming Oct. 16, 2018. With a new faction, 4 new heroes, a new 4x4 mode, significant visual enhancements and unlimited single player and 2-person co-op PVE mode yet to be revealed, Marching Fire expands the world of For Honor like never before,” the description for the update reads.
The new “Breach Mode” that will be coming with “For Honor” Season 8 is particularly interesting, mostly because of the fact that it provides players with the ability to storm castles. Alternatively, players can also be on the side that protects a castle, which basically makes this a siege mode, if nothing else.
On top of that, there’s also “Arcade Mode,” which can hold a particular interest to new players of the game. “For Honor” Season 8 is basically where players will get the chance to make their characters stronger and get used to the game before taking on real contenders. Scheduled for release on Oct. 16, “For Honor” Season 8 is an update that players will want to watch out for.
