The Fitbit Charge 5 design has been leaked in full over the past weeks. New leaks have also revealed that the wearable device is launching with a new feature called Daily Readiness Score, but it will not be available for everyone.
The Google-owned electronics and fitness company might have very little to surprise its fans as more Fitbit Charge 5 leaks appear online. More recently, well-known and reliable leaker _snoopytech_ posted an official-looking trailer video for the unannounced smartwatch that runs for a minute and 30 seconds.
It shows the Fitbit Charge 5 in the same leaked design previously shared by Evan Blass, another prolific leaker. With these sources, it appears that tech fans already have a very good idea of the device’s official design.
Meanwhile, the leaked Fitbit Charge 5 promo video reveals even more details, especially about the watch’s features. The trailer highlights the addition of the Daily Readiness Score that tracks a user’s activities the previous day, sleep from the night before, and heart rate to determine the appropriate fitness activity they should do for the current day.
In a video snippet, the feature tells the smartwatch user that they were “above and beyond with activity yesterday.” So for the current day, the user is advised to take a rest and “try light walks, stretches or restorative yoga” instead of a more intense workout.

The catch, though, is that the leaked Fitbit Charge 5 trailer also notes that the Daily Readiness Score would be locked behind the Fitbit Premium paywall. That means buying the upcoming smartwatch does not necessarily mean having access to such a helpful fitness feature.
However, the latter part of the video also mentions that buying the Fitbit Charge 5 will give users a free six-month Fitbit Premium membership. Fitbit customers just have to wait and see if the details from the leaked trailer will still be accurate at the time of the device’s announcement. Fitbit Premium subscription currently costs $9.99 per month or $79.99 for one-time payment annual membership.
Fitbit Charge 5 will also ship with a built-in GPS and electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor. The trailer says the latter will be used for the smartwatch’s stress management feature. The video also indicates that the device will support an “on-wrist ECG app,” but it will be available to select countries and is not advisable to use for people under the age of 22.
The same source also mentioned that Fitbit Charge 5 will cost $179. Snoopy and Blass did not mention when the wearable device would launch, but considering the number of leaks emerging online, it would not be surprising if the product is announced soon.
