Electronic Entertainment Expo, or more commonly known as E3, is one of the most awaited events annually by gaming fans and it is for a good reason. The three-day convention usually hosts the announcement of major video game projects as well as the unveiling of teasers and release dates for anticipated titles. Fans are now wondering if “Final Fantasy VII: Remake” will make an appearance here.

Luckily for fans of Square Enix games, the video game company is currently listed as one of the attending organizations at E3 on June 11-13. However, it is important to note that their attendance could mean several things. Square Enix might only set up its booth for gameplay demos, or the company can also hold its own media event where new teasers for projects like “Final Fantasy VII: Remake” will be revealed.

It is not surprising if fans are expecting a new “Final Fantasy VII: Remake” promo video at E3 this year. It can be recalled that game director Tetsuya Nomura and producer Yoshinori Kitase have both previously confirmed they have more teasers for the upcoming game lined up in 2019.

However, it is also important to note that E3 is not the only gaming trade shows lined up this year. This means Square Enix could fulfill Nomura and Kitase’s promise, but not on an E3 stage. So until Square Enix confirms the appearance of “Final Fantasy VII: Remake” in June, it is based for fans to tone down their expectations.

The upcoming game might have the word “remake” on its title, but developers have already implied that they are working on more than just a remaster. It was also reported before that “Final Fantasy VII: Remake” is labeled an action RPG, which means the game will offer advanced action-based combat gameplay compared to the original title.
