The new Notifications tab of social media platform Facebook has just experienced a new cosmetic change.
ZDNET said the new Notifications will only show contextually relevant information while implementing the combined functionalities of its News Feed and Google Now. A mobile user instead see “cards” to view any information that is relevant to the content he or she had Liked in the platform, as well as information Facebook has derived from the user’s preferences.
“With this update, your current notification settings will not change, and you can adjust those any time in your Settings. You can also customize the info you see by tapping the arrow to the right of each card, or Add More Cards at the bottom of the tab,” Facebook said in a blog post.
TIME said this way, the latest modification on Facebook mobile ultimately provides the user a quick snapshot of the world around you.
