NEW YORK, April 14, 2016 -- Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, announces the filing of a class action lawsuit on behalf of purchasers of LPL Financial Holdings Inc. securities (NASDAQ:LPLA) from December 8, 2015 through February 11, 2016, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”). The lawsuit seeks to recover damages for LPL Financial investors under the federal securities laws.

According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period defendants issued false and misleading statements to investors and/or failed to disclose that: (1) LPL Financial’s earnings and revenue were substantially declining; (2) LPL Financial’s client assets were deteriorating and would decline by billions of dollars; (3) LPL Financial’s gross profits would decline significantly; (4) LPL Financial would experience its worst sequential gross profit decline in four years; and (5) as a result, LPL Financial’s public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.
A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than May 23, 2016. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
