“Dying Light 2 Stay Human” was just released last week, but one of the most encountered issues when playing co-op mode had been causing dead AI bodies to multiply. Luckily, Techland was quick to fix the bug on PC and promised that similar fixes are ready for release on consoles.
The developer released patch 1.04 on PC on Monday with a few bug fixes included in the patch notes. One item reads, “Fixed AI dead body replication in co-op.” Techland has also addressed game crashing issues in the latest “Dying Light 2” update on PC and added DLSS improvements.
In a few days after “Dying Light 2” was released, players have also reported a problem that was preventing them from selling valuable items to vendors in the game. But Techland says patch 1.04 should fix that as well. Another important item fixed on the PC version is related to mouse keybinding options. The developer said, “You should be allowed to rebind your mouse buttons, we are still working on an additional implementation for extra mouse buttons.”
In a Twitter thread on Monday, Techland showed the bugs with fixes that are “ready for implementation,” while they are still working on more issues observed on PC and consoles.

As of this writing, there are many more “Dying Light 2” bugs on PlayStation and Xbox that Techland said are going to be fixed soon. The developer says fixes for problems like connection stability, disconnect issues in co-op, and game crashing bugs on consoles are ready for implementation. As of this writing, the developer has yet to announce patch notes for console systems. But since they are categorized as fixes already lined up to go live, console players will likely receive updates in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Techland has also listed several gameplay issues that they are already working on, including a “various story blocks” problem. Players have also reported experiencing an annoying bug that sends them in a death loop, but the developer says a fix for that is also underway. For console players, they should expect new video settings to arrive soon, including motion blur. “Dying Light 2” is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
