With Season of Opulence still on a roll, “Destiny 2” players can keep themselves this weekend. But for those who might be one to take a break from the raid events and quests, they can do so by looking for the merchant Xur.

“Destiny 2” gameplay: Xur’s location on July 5-8

Per tradition, “Destiny 2” players can find Xur in one location for the rest of the weekend. His store will be open from Friday through Monday several exotic items. The good thing about Xur’s weekly business is that it is not hard to find him because, obviously, the main point of having him is to entice players to purchase armor and weapons with Legendary Shards.

To find Xur this weekend, “Destiny 2” players should start by going to Nessus and then fast travel to the Watcher’s Grave. Upon landing, players should proceed to the Golden Barge of Calus by going straight ahead and climb a nearby rock to reach the barge’s platform.

“Destiny 2” weekly exotic sales: Is it worth it?

As mentioned, it is fairly easy to locate Xur in “Destiny 2,” but some players might still want to check out first if it is worth the time. And that could be decided by the array of exotic items Xur has in store for this week. This is the players’ chance to load up on some items released outside of the Forsaken timeline.

On top of the list is the Huckleberry exotic submachine gun for 29 Legendary Shards. This weapon is known as a great option for close-range combat with a horde of enemies approaching. Its Ride the Bull perk increases its rate of fire and recoil while shooting opponents and every kill reloads a portion of the magazine.

Xur is also offering a total of three types of armor each costing 23 Legendary Shards on “Destiny 2.” The Graviton Forfeit helmet (Hunter) equipped with the Vanishing Shadow perk that increases the effects of invisibility whenever applicable. Khepri’s Horn helmet (Titan) has the Solar Rampart perk that in every kills through solar damage, a player’s Barricade gets recharged automatically so it could release a blast of solar energy when needed. Sunbracers gauntlets (Warlock) is known for having the Helium Spirals perk that allows longer periods of using Solar Grenades. “Destiny 2” is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
