CertaTech Solutions Acquires Clearwater Legal

CHICAGO, Feb. 21, 2018 -- CertaTech Solutions, a leading provider of comprehensive eDiscovery and legal consulting solutions as well as information governance, analytics and investigations, announces its acquisition of Clearwater Legal, a managed document review services and legal staffing specialist based in Washington, D.C. The combined entity offers law firms and corporate legal departments one premier service partner for collection, processing, hosting and document review across the data life cycle. CertaTech Solutions continues to provide consulting solutions to its corporate clients in the areas of data preservation, information governance and legal spend management and now managed document review and legal staffing placements as well.

Acquiring Clearwater Legal continues CertaTech’s recent pattern of growth. The addition of document review services overall and consulting resources in the Washington, D.C., market, along with Clearwater’s legal staffing expertise, is a strategic step in CertaTech’s ongoing expansion.
