MINNEAPOLIS, April 24, 2018 -- Calabrio, a leading provider of customer engagement and analytics software, has hired Doug Lang as senior vice president of Customer Success to lead the company’s Professional Services, Support Services and Training organizations. In this executive leadership role, Lang will drive success and improved time to value for Calabrio’s more than 4,500 customers by supporting them throughout the entire lifecycle and ensuring they are equipped to deliver the best experiences possible.
“Calabrio has built a community of fanatical, loyal customers,” said Tom Goodmanson, president and CEO at Calabrio. “That is why this role is so critical. We welcome Doug and know he is the right leader to build on our momentum, guiding customers through successful software deployments and enabling them to discover new ways to leverage Calabrio across their business. Doug has tremendous experience in our industry and has a keen sense of what customers need to be successful—he is a perfect match for where we’re headed.”
Throughout his tenured career, Lang has built services organizations focused on fostering long-standing customer relationships and helping high-growth companies move to the cloud. Prior to joining Calabrio, Lang was senior vice president of business operations at Arrow Systems Integration, a leading systems integrator, where he architected a high-impact services organization of more than 500 people. Under Lang’s direction, the Arrow team achieved a perfect score on customer installation satisfaction. Lang has also held services leadership roles at Cross Telecom (acquired by Arrow in 2011) and ACT.
“I’m thrilled to join the Calabrio team,” said Lang. “The customer experience landscape has changed dramatically and continues to evolve. To keep up, successful services organizations realize that the customer journey is continuous—it starts long before a sale is complete and is never-ending. Calabrio understands this, and that’s why I’m here. The company’s close relationship with its customers, its next-gen cloud and on-premises technology platform, and rapid growth are what sets it apart from the competition. I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves and get to work for Calabrio customers.”
The appointment of Lang follows a steady drumbeat of momentum for the company in 2018, including the announcement of Calabrio ONE with Sentiment Analysis, and being named a Visionary in the February 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Workforce Engagement Management1.
