Brown & Brown is proud to congratulate Mr. Brown, who has served on Brown & Brown’s Board of Directors since 2004. Mr. Brown founded BAMSI, Inc., a full-service engineering and technical services company, in 1978 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 1998. Additionally, Mr. Brown currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Directors of SunTrust Bank of Orlando and is a member of the Board of Managers for Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida. He is a past member of the Florida Council of 100 and the Florida Council on Economic Education. He also served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Chairman of the Spaceport Florida Authority (now Florida Space Authority) Board of Supervisors and previously served on the Florida Commission on Education.
