Following the very successful public crowsale for Breakout Coin, the Breakout Stake (BRX) crowdsale, which began July 10, ended on July 24, 2016 at 8 PM Pacific Time, raising over 200 BTC.

BRX is the world’s first “staking” coin for another cryptocurrency, and the first-ever coin where all inflation each year of new coins in the system is not created by the Breakout Coin (BRK) itself, but by BRX. The Bittrex Exchange hosted 6,547,761 BRX with a price set at 1500/BTC.

“The Breakout Crowdfund has raised 207.79 BTC and distributed 315843.49 BRX”, Bittrex website reads.

All BRX coins sold will be distributed to purchasers and a BTC-BRX market pairing will be opened by Bittrex for trading shortly. Any unsold BRX will be provably burned, thereby increasing the value of the remaining BRX. 

“We’re pleased to see the market interest in the Breakout Stake, as it comes on the heels of our very successful crowdsale of the BRK, which is now actively trading.  The funds raised through these crowdsales will be used, in part, to continue the development and launch of our gaming and entertainment properties”, Randy Kim, Chairman of Breakout’s Board, stated.

Breakout Gaming, the company managing the gaming properties including https://BreakoutPoker.net, also invites poker enthusiasts to join some of the top poker professionals in the world for a special Breakout Champions freeroll tournament. The BRK WSOP Poker Champions Tournament began on July 24. The first-place finisher will receive the 3 of Diamonds from the DECK, one of the Breakout Chains unique multi-currencies. The second-place finisher be awarded 0.5 Bitcoin, and the third through 40th place finishers will share 5,000 Breakout Coins (BRK).
