IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 18, 2018 -- Brandywine Homes, a pioneer of infill development in Southern California, closed 111 homes, opened three new communities and broke ground on three new communities in Southern California in 2017. The homebuilder plans to increase its number of delivered homes by over 50 percent and open four new communities throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties in 2018.
“We feel extremely fortunate to continue to sell homes at a rapid rate, and our acquisition pipeline has grown this past year,” said Dave Barisic, principal in charge of sales and marketing at Brandywine Homes. “As part of our 2018 business strategy, we will continue to offer moderate price points for our homes located in infill locations.”
In 2017, Brandywine opened Newbury, 15 estate homes in Yorba Linda; Castella, 21 luxury townhomes in Norwalk; and Riverdale, 131 detached homes in Long Beach.
Also, in 2017, Brandywine broke ground on Corsica, 17 townhomes in Buena Park; Bradbury, 45 homes in La Puente; and Saddle Creek, 28 detached homes in San Dimas. Brandywine expects to begin selling these homes in the second quarter of this year.
Brandywine’s 2017 sold-out projects are as follows: Provence, 28 homes in Yorba Linda; Brighton, 60 homes in West Carson; Sunstone, 31 townhomes in Norwalk; Lakehouse, 20 homes in Anaheim; Lotus Court, 13 townhomes in Monrovia; Citrine, 16 townhomes in Norwalk; and Griffin, 17 townhomes in Arcadia.
“Our success lies with building homes that match the needs of our homebuyers, who are currently looking for smaller more affordable homes with increased connectivity,” said Barisic.
