Blockchain wallet launches ether functionality on iOS and Android platforms

Leading bitcoin and ether wallet Blockchain has announced that ether functionality is now available on its mobile apps.

Blockchain users will now be able to store, send, and receive ether on both iOS and Android platforms.


According to the online post, with this update, Blockchain is rolling out two new changes – a new dashboard to allow users to monitor the market price for both currencies, and easy navigation between ether and bitcoin with a simple tap to monitor transactions, send funds, or request payment.

Blockchain announced its support ether in August.

Founded in 2011, Blockchain is one of the popular consumer wallet for digital assets in the world with over 16 million wallets across 140 countries. In June 2017, the startup raised $40 million in Series B round led by Lakestar, which brought the total funding to over $70 million till date.
